I'm no green activist or anything but i think it's everyone responsibilities to help (at their own capabilities) to make this earth we live in to become a better place. I'm still new to this whole green thing, so i'm going to learn and practice it step by step.

My first (very simple) attempt of going green is by simply refusing all plastic bag (also paper bags) whenever i buy something from the shops. I bought a green-reusable-bag from carrefour for only Rp 2000,- and i carry it all the time in my bag, so whenever i buy groceries or anything else (even clothes or shoes) i just put it all in the reusable shopping bag. If i forget to bring my reusable bag during shopping trip, i would just ask for 1 bag and put other stuff from other shops in the same bag. If the stuff i buy is in small size, i would prefer to put in my big handbag instead.

After doing this green routine for a while (about a month now), now i run out of used plastic bag that i usually use as trash bag. If i don't use trash bag, my trash bin goes yucky and requires cleaning very often, and i also don't want to buy those plastic trash bag because they are also plastic anyway so what's the point?

I realize that i maybe can not ban plastic bag in my life forever, but after i learn more about the green movement and becoming more conscious, surely i uses less and less plastic bag everyday.
