Yesterday (on wednesday) was Jakarta's governor election so the district government instruct all institutions to give a day off too all their employees hoping that we will use the chance to put in our vote. Hell no, i have no interest in those bullshit, eh i mean...politic. But if there is someone, a charismatic leader that truly care for the fate of his poeple, someone deserve to be voted, then i will vote. Maybe one day in the future =)

Since there is no one deserve to be voted yet, so i use my day off to do something more usefull. We move the stuff from our office to a brand new office that we can't really afford. It's nothing really fancy but it's has a decent working space in a strategic location with floor-to-ceiling window which i really love. We bought some basic (cheap hehehe) furnitures to fill the office and in general we are quite happy with the result. I'll post some of my office pic later.

After everything is settled in the new office, i went home thinking to have a nice relaxing night. Just while i sat comfortably on my couch watching tv that night, suddenly my apartment began to shake quite hard and the hanging lamp starting to swing. I instantly grab my hand bag and join the panicking neigbours running down the apartment stairs. Apparantly running down the stairs from the 26th floor with high heel is not such a good idea i can tell you that as my feet still aching untill this moment. Anyway we found out first from CNN (not from local tv!!) that we've been shake by 7,5 SR earthquake that last for about 1 minute and the center of the quake is off the north coast of Jakarta, Java island. This is by far the strongest quake we ever experienced in Jakarta city and it's a wonder really that nobody was injured in this earthquake. Also lucky for us that the center of the quake is too deep in  the sea so there were no threat of any tsunami. I really think that this country couldn't stand another disaster.

Counting down to my Thailand gateaway in 6 days!!!! can't waitt...ughhhhh
